Carlo Borri, a 1952 Neapolitan self-taught painter, approaches painting already in childhood when, by pure chance, he meets the painter Roberto Cargnani, one of the last 19th-century artists. Uprooted by the brilliance of Cargnani, he begins to paint still lifes and figures of children from life.
