These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CoinsTree governing your access to and use of the CoinsTree online marketplace, website, related applications, and services.

By creating an account, completing verification, listing items, placing bids, purchasing items, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

Company Information and Nature of Services

CoinsTree operates a specialised online marketplace dedicated exclusively to numismatic and collectible items.

CoinsTree acts solely as an intermediary digital service provider and does not function as:

• A dealer or reseller of listed goods
• An auctioneer
• An agent for Buyers or Sellers
• A financial institution or payment processor

Marketplace Status

CoinsTree provides a venue for independent Buyers and Sellers to enter into legally binding contracts with one another.

• CoinsTree is not a party to user contracts
• Ownership and risk transfer occur directly between Buyer and Seller

Eligibility and Registration

• You must be at least 18 years old
• You must provide accurate registration details
• You are responsible for account security

Mandatory Account Verification

Verification enhances marketplace integrity, reduces fraud, and increases transactional accountability.

Fees

Listing Fee: $0.10 per item (non-refundable).

Final Value Fee: 5% of the total sale price for completed transactions.

Promotional Placement: $5 per listing and remains active for the same duration as the selected listing period.

Seller Obligations

• Lawful ownership of listed items
• Accurate and truthful descriptions
• Compliance with applicable laws
• Proper shipment and packaging
• Tax compliance where required

Buyer Obligations

• Bids are legally binding
• Payment must be completed on time
• Manipulative conduct is prohibited

Payments and Disputes

Unjustified chargebacks may result in suspension and recovery of administrative costs.

Disclaimer

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of authenticity or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

CoinsTree shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability shall not exceed fees paid in the six months preceding a claim.

Suspension and Termination

Accounts may be suspended or terminated where violations, fraud, or legal risks arise.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
