Final Value Fee
5% of the final sale amount
CoinsTree charges a 5% final value fee when an eligible item is successfully sold through the Platform.
The fee is calculated based on the final item sale price and is deducted from the seller’s payment after the transaction is completed.
Clarifications:
- The 5% fee applies only when an eligible item is successfully sold
- No final value fee is charged if the item does not sell
- The fee is calculated from the final item sale price
- Classified listings are not subject to the 5% final value fee
- The fee is non-refundable once the transaction has been completed
For example, if an eligible item sells for $100, the CoinsTree final value fee is $5. Classified listings are excluded from this fee.
Buyer Verification Fee
$1 one-time verification fee
A one-time $1 verification fee is required before an account can purchase items, place bids, or submit offers on CoinsTree.
Clarifications:
- The fee is charged only once per verified buyer account
- Verification is required before buying, bidding, or submitting offers
- The fee is non-refundable once verification is completed
- No recurring buyer verification fee is charged
The verification fee helps reduce fake or duplicate accounts, irresponsible bidding, and offers submitted without a genuine intention to complete a purchase.
Seller Verification Fee
$1 one-time verification fee
A one-time $1 seller verification fee is required before an account can list items for sale on CoinsTree.
Clarifications:
- The fee is charged only once per verified seller account
- Seller verification is required before creating or publishing listings
- The fee is non-refundable once verification is completed
- No recurring seller verification fee is charged
The seller verification fee helps reduce fake seller accounts, fraudulent listings, spam, and misuse of the marketplace.
Auction Listing Fee
$0.10 per 7-day listing
CoinsTree charges a $0.10 listing fee for each auction listing published on the Platform.
Clarifications:
- Each auction listing runs for up to 7 days
- The $0.10 fee is charged when the auction listing is published
- The fee is non-refundable once the listing is published
- A new listing fee may apply if the item is relisted after the auction ends
- A 5% final value fee applies if the auction item is successfully sold
The auction listing fee helps maintain marketplace quality and reduce spam or excessive low-quality listings.
Classified Listing Setup Fee
$5 one-time setup fee
CoinsTree charges a one-time $5 setup fee for each classified listing published on the Platform.
Classified listings are not subject to the 5% final value fee or any sales commission when the item is sold.
Clarifications:
- The $5 fee applies to each classified listing
- The listing has no fixed expiration date
- No recurring listing fee is charged while the listing remains active
- No final value fee or sales commission is charged when a classified item is sold
- The seller keeps the full sale amount from a classified transaction
- The $5 setup fee is non-refundable once the listing is published
Classified listings may remain active without a time limit until they are removed by the seller or otherwise closed in accordance with CoinsTree marketplace rules.
