What is CoinsTree

Who can use CoinsTree
Any individual aged 18 or over with the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts may register and use the Platform.
Account and Verification
What happens if verification is not completed
Accounts that have not completed verification may have restricted access to buying, bidding, or selling features.
Buying on CoinsTree
How do I place a bid
Once your account is verified, you may place bids on auction listings. A bid represents a legally binding commitment to purchase the item if you are the winning bidder.
How do I purchase a fixed-price item
For fixed-price listings, you may complete the purchase immediately by proceeding through checkout and completing payment within the required timeframe.
What payment methods are accepted
Payments may be made using PayPal or major credit and debit cards, subject to the payment integrations available at checkout.
What happens if a seller does not ship my item
Buyers should first contact the seller directly to resolve the issue. While CoinsTree may review matters under its policies, it is not a party to the transaction and does not assume responsibility for shipment.
Selling on CoinsTree
Is there a listing fee
Yes. CoinsTree charges a one-time listing fee of $0.10 per item listed. This fee is charged when the listing is created and applies regardless of whether the item sells.
What is the Final Value Fee
CoinsTree charges a Final Value Fee of 5 percent of the total sale price for each successfully completed transaction. This fee applies only when an item is sold and is separate from the listing fee.
When is the Final Value Fee charged
The Final Value Fee becomes payable upon completion of a successful sale and may be automatically deducted or invoiced in accordance with platform procedures.
What happens if my item does not sell
If an item does not sell, only the one-time $0.10 listing fee applies. No Final Value Fee is charged.
Safety and Authenticity
Does CoinsTree guarantee authenticity
CoinsTree does not authenticate items unless explicitly stated. Sellers are fully responsible for ensuring that listings are accurate and that items offered are genuine.
What if I suspect counterfeit or prohibited items
Users should report any suspected counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited listings through the Platform’s reporting tools. CoinsTree reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action.
Account Management
Can my account be suspended
Yes. Accounts may be suspended or terminated if platform policies are violated, fraudulent behaviour is suspected, payment obligations are not met, or legal risks arise.
Can I cancel my account
Users may request account closure by contacting support. Outstanding fees or unresolved transactions must be settled prior to closure.
Legal and Disputes
Is CoinsTree responsible for disputes between users
No. CoinsTree provides the marketplace infrastructure but is not a party to transactions. Buyers and sellers are responsible for resolving disputes directly between themselves.
What law governs the Platform
CoinsTree operates under the laws of England and Wales.
