This magnificent French gold coin from the era of Charles VI (1380–1422) is for sale. The exact mint is unknown.
The gold piece bears no date, but it was minted in 1388. Its weight is 3.95 g, and its diameter is approximately 30 mm.
I bought the coin at an eBay auction, and the seller says he acquired it himself.
from Auction 122 / Lot 2028 F. R. Künker / Osnabrück. The auction house's condition description read: EXCELLENT.
