Description
Early 1958, Che Guevara, acting on behalf of Fidel Castro, took over the fortress El Morro at Havana's harbor entrance. On that day he gave an interview to a journalist from the magazine Bohemia. The photos were taken by his old friend and comrade Perfecto Romero. In this photo he is shown with a cigar and his Rolex. Later he wrote a dedication for a friend on this photo. On the back is a certificate from the museum Centro De Estudios Che Guevara in Havana. His wife was the director of the museum and confirmed its authenticity.
The frame shown in the first photo is not included with the drawing. It is provided for illustration purposes only and as a suggestion of how the drawing could be presented.
