'Heavy Silver Medal'' – ca. 500 grams – after the Historic Seal of Biberach an der Riß – No Date – Edge Mark “BK”
Impressive modern medal inspired by the medieval civic seal of the Free Imperial City of Biberach (Germany). The obverse features a stylized lily staff flanked by the imperial eagle (left) and a rampant lion (right), surrounded by a Latin Gothic inscription:
“✠ SIGILLVM MINISTRI DE BIBERHAC CIVIVM”
(“Seal of the Magistrate of the Citizens of Biberach”).
This medal is solidly struck in what is presumed to be silver, with a total weight of approximately 500 grams. The edge is stamped with “BK”, likely indicating a mint or hallmark. The reverse is blank. Housed in a fitted case with felt lining.
