Kings of Bosporus. Eupator with Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus (154/5-170/1). Gold Stater. Dated BE 459 (AD 162/3).
Obv: ΒΑϹΙΛЄωϹ ЄΥΠΑΤΟΡΟϹ.
Diademed and draped bust of Eupator right.
Rev: ΘΝΥ (date).
Bareheaded and draped bust of Marcus bare head of Lucius facing each other; club (or spear?) between.
RPC IV.1 online 3742; MacDonald 469/3.
Condition: Good very fine.
Weight: 7.77 g.
Diameter: 19 mm.
