Silver 5 Lire issued during the reign of Napoleon Bonaparte as King of Italy.
The obverse features a right-facing portrait of Napoleon with the inscription “NAPOLEONE IMPERATORE E RE” (Napoleon Emperor and King). Beneath the portrait is the date 1810 with mint mark B for the Bologna mint.
The reverse displays the crowned imperial eagle holding the shield of the Kingdom of Italy, surrounded by the legend “REGNO D’ITALIA” (Kingdom of Italy), with the denomination “5 LIRE” at the bottom.
