English silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1910, (date letter “s”)
Measurements 12.5 cm in length.
Condition Lovely antique condition, no splits or cracks, no solder repairs, and no nasty knocks or dents, just minor little age-related surface bruises from normal use, really nothing much at all. Ornate engraved decoration on the handles.

Maker: Silversmiths initials “JR” (star and Maltese cross mark) Joseph Rodgers. The company was founded in 1724 when John Rodgers first rented the star and Maltese cross mark from the Cutlers’ Company. Joseph Rodgers had a reputation for producing the best quality items in Sheffield.
